Working with students from kindergarten through college level, Julie Shullo has more than 15 years of experience helping learners thrive. She has worked with students with a variety of learning differences, including students with weaknesses in reading, writing, math, and executive functioning.

Julie has observed that by helping her clients become aware of how they learn, it empowers them to become curious, independent learners. In addition to supporting her clients with academic remediation, instruction, and coaching, she also believes in supporting the whole learner by encouraging healthy lifestyle choices in nutrition, sleep, stress management, and movement.

Julie is a credentialed Education Specialist and has a multiple subject teaching credential. She received a Master's Degree in Education from California State University San Marcos. As an Educational Therapist, Julie is a member of the Association of Educational Therapists (www.aetonline.org) and the International Dyslexia Association (www.dyslexiaida.org).

In addition to her academic teaching credentials, she is also a certified mindfulness meditation teacher. She completed her training in January 2023 through the Sounds True accredited mindfulness meditation teacher training program.

Julie has previously worked at San Elijo Middle School and Urban Discovery Academy in San Diego, California. She also continues to support students through Integrative Educational Therapy.
